报告摘要：This talk will survey the recent move from structural graph theory to structural model theory, emphasizing on the meta-theorems that have been obtained thanks to a logical approach and some of their applications to structural graph theory and parameterized complexity.
报告人简介：Patrice Ossona de Mendez，法国国家科学研究中心（CNRS）研究员，《European Journal of Combinatorics》主编。主要研究方向为结构图论、稀疏图分解、图极限与有限模型论。他与Jaroslav Nešetřil合著的专著《Sparsity: Graphs, Structures, and Algorithms》入选 ACM Computing Reviews 2012年度值得关注的图书与文章名单。他在稀疏图结构理论方面作出了奠基性贡献，相关研究建立了结构图论、逻辑与参数化算法之间的重要联系，并与Jaroslav Nešetřil共同荣获2025年EATCS-IPEC Nerode奖。
